Identified Display Areas for Posters
Generally, posters (8.5" by 11") may be hung on bulletin boards within GW-residential, recreational, academic, support, administrative, or leased buildings unless otherwise stipulated by the individual area. More specific area guidance is listed below; if a respective unit is not listed, generally identified areas like bulletin boards in those spaces are included in the scope of this policy.

- Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) Bulletin Boards; MPA Building 4th floor - Updated by GW staff and faculty only.
- Physical flyers/posters in Arlington and Alexandria Education Centers - Email [email protected] for permission. Please include a copy of the poster and a description of why you would like it posted.
- Electronic posters on screens in Arlington and Alexandria Education Centers - Email [email protected] for permission. Please include a copy of the poster and a description of why you would like it posted

- Digital displays in Phillips Hall
- Division for Student Affairs
- Elliott School of International Affairs
- For students - Approved bulletin boards only. Student-originated posting requests must align with the specific guidance outlined by the Campus Living & Residential Education Posters and Promotions Policy
- For faculty/staff - Plastic holders adjacent to elevators
- George Washington Law School
- George Washington School of Business
- Designated bulletin boards throughout Duques and Funger Halls - must be approved by GWSB Operations.
- Graduate School of Education & Human Development
- One digital display monitor and school-wide bulletin boards in the stairwells
