Identified Display Areas for Posters

Generally, posters (8.5" by 11") may be hung on bulletin boards within GW-residential, recreational, academic, support, administrative, or leased buildings unless otherwise stipulated by the individual area. More specific area guidance is listed below; if a respective unit is not listed, generally identified areas like bulletin boards in those spaces are included in the scope of this policy.

  • College of Professional Studies
    • Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM) Bulletin Boards; MPA Building 4th floor -  Updated by GW staff and faculty only.
    • Physical flyers/posters in Arlington and Alexandria Education Centers - Email [email protected] for permission. Please include a copy of the poster and a description of why you would like it posted.
    • Electronic posters on screens in Arlington and Alexandria Education Centers - Email [email protected] for permission. Please include a copy of the poster and a description of why you would like it posted
  • Columbian College of Arts & Sciences
    • Digital displays in Phillips Hall
  • Division for Student Affairs
  • Elliott School of International Affairs
  • George Washington Law School
  • George Washington School of Business
    • Designated bulletin boards throughout Duques and Funger Halls - must be approved by GWSB Operations.
  • Graduate School of Education & Human Development
    • One digital display monitor and school-wide bulletin boards in the stairwells
