Allegations of Research Misconduct Policy Draft
Overview of Proposed Changes
This is a Material Change to the Current Policy. Material Changes include those that affect the university’s position, commitment, or spirit of the policy, because of changes in business principles, practices, or relevant laws and regulations. Revisions have been made to align the policy for handling allegations of research misconduct in keeping with newly revised applicable federal regulations, as well as sponsor requirements, and ethical principles inherent to the responsible conduct of research and scholarly work. During the drafting stage, this policy has received initial stakeholder consultation from the Faculty Senate Research Committee. A Comparison Document describing the draft with the current policy is included.
The feedback period will remain open until November 24, 2025.
