Overview of Proposed Changes
This is a new policy, which sets expectations for employees regarding the use and possession of alcohol and other drugs on time owed to the university, representing GW at university-sponsored events, and on university-owned or leased property.
The feedback period will remain open until October 27, 2025.

We invite all current Faculty, Postdocs, Staff, and Students to provide feedback on this policy draft.
You can view the Draft Policy above, which is hosted on our GW Box system and requires you to log in to access the proposed changes.
To send feedback, select the "Provide Feedback on this Policy" button above. This will direct you to the myGW portal to submit. This will also require you to log in using your GW credentials. Based on learning from feedback received while a more permanent policy review process is finalized, the university has modified the form hosted within myGW to hone in on the type of feedback you are proposing to assess the scope and central themes more fully.
