Anti-Hazing Policy Draft

Overview of Proposed Changes 

This is a new policy. The Stop Campus Hazing Act, signed into law in  December 2024, amends the Jeanne Clery Act, requiring institutions of higher education to have in place a policy prohibiting hazing.  

The feedback period will remain open until noon (12:00 pm EDT) on May 23, 2025.

Based on learning from feedback received while a more permanent policy review process is finalized, the university has modified the form hosted within myGW to hone in on the type of feedback you are proposing to assess the scope and central themes more fully.
